Samsung’s widely-anticipated Galaxy Note 4 has leaked in a new photo before its debut next month. Most Samsung devices leak extravagantly before their release, but the Galaxy Note 4 has been kept surprisingly quiet. As we edge nearer to the launch date, things are bound to crop up, like this latest photo that reveals what the Galaxy Note 4 looks like. Looking at the photo below, we can see that the Galaxy Note 4 takes queues from both its predecessor as well as the rumored Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
The Galaxy Note 4 looks to have a more squared design than previous Note devices. The front is pretty standard Samsung with a physical home button and two capacitative buttons on either side. Of note are the tiny bezels on this device, showing that Samsung worked to maximize display space. Whether the display is larger or the phone is smaller, we don’t know, but it looks to be an improvement over the Galaxy S5, which had larger bezels than many hoped for.
Moving around to the back and sides, we can see that Galaxy Note 4 appears to have metal trim around the sides, similar to the rumored Galaxy Alpha. The back, however, is signature Galaxy Note, with the faux leather that Samsung used on the Galaxy Note 3. This time around, the faux leather looks to have a bit more texture, possibly for better grip of the device. On the bottom left, we can see a speaker and the S Pen that comes with all Galaxy Note devices. Up by the camera, we can see what appears to be a heart rate sensor, as has become standard on high-end Samsung devices. The Galaxy Note 4 should launch on September 3, with a public release following within a couple of weeks.
