XLTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 now available from Verizon

Some two months after being officially unveiled by Samsung, Verizon has announced today that the 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S is available now through Big Red with access to its new XLTE network.

We reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 a couple weeks back and found it to be one of the better Android tablets you can buy at the high-end of the pricing spectrum. Specs-wise, the Tab S 10.5 comes with a 2560×1600 Super AMOLED display, front and rear-facing cameras, 16GB of expandable storage, a 7900mAh battery, Android 4.4 and access to Verizon’s 4G LTE network, including XLTE.

Verizon will be selling the tablet for either $499 on a two-year contract or $599 without. The original WiFi-enabled Tab S 10.5 comes in at $499, so you’re paying $100 more for the addition of LTE. Not bad for those that need it.

If you’re in the market for a high-end Android tablet and want to use it on Verizon, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is going to be your best bet. Check out our full review for more information on the Tab S 10.5.
