Amazon Halloween sale offers over $115 in paid apps for free

Amazon’s app store is known for featuring a paid app for free every day. The apps aren’t always winners naturally and we forget to check most days, but with almost 40 paid apps worth over $115 available for free through Saturday as part of their Halloween sale we are going to make an exception.

And remember you can install directly from the Amazon app now rather than having to jump through hoops to get the Amazon App Store app installed.

Notable titles available are Plants vs. Zombies, Plex, Toca Town, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, Zombie Gunship, World of Goo and Endomondo Sports Pro. Again there are dozens of other titles available and scrolling through the list there are quite a few more that I’m personally going to be downloading to check out.

If you spot any of your own favorites in the sale let the rest of us know in comments so we can be sure to grab it too.

My experience with Amazon’s store is that they don’t update their apps as often as Google’s store.

Why do people always like to make the same ignorant comment over and over again about Amazon’s App Store. They (Amazon) aren’t the ones who code/write the apps.. that’s done by the developer of the app.. And from my experience, the apps there seem to get update just as frequently as Google’s Play Store.

There were three apps that seemed interesting, but after reading the ratings and reviews, none of them interested me.
