Sony Xperia Z3 for T-Mobile launching October 29, pre-sales begin October 15

On October 9, Verizon and Sony revealed that the Big Red’s variant of the Xperia Z3, the Xperia Z3v, would launch on October 23. Now T-Mobile is getting into the fun with their own announcement, revealing that the Xperia Z3 will go on sale for the Magenta network later in the month. Through pre-sales, customers could get it even sooner.

The announcement was made via T-Mobile’s official press site on Monday, October 13, and revealed not only the launch date and pricing, but also an online-only “pre-sale” for the device. It begins on October 15 at 12:00am PDT, and with the pre-sale, buyers of the Xperia Z3 can potentially have their device arrive on their doorstep before the October 29 national launch.

For those who can wait, T-Mobile will officially start selling the Xperia Z3 on October 29 through their physical retail stores and online channels. It will cost $0 down and $26.25 per month for 24 months in a monthly installment plan.

The Xperia Z3 features a 5.2-inch 1080p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. It has a battery measured in at 3100mAh, and it is one of the first smartphones to support Remote Play with the PlayStation 4.

      Well $26.25 for 24 months equals $630….and if you mean what do you have to pay up-front, you only pay the taxes up front (which on a $600 phone is typically something like $30).
