The Nexus 6 will be up for pre-order on October 29

Nexus 6 (3)

Motorola’s Nexus 6 has been revealed to go up for pre-order next Wednesday, October 29. Google said in its official announcement of the device that it would be available for pre-order on that date and sure enough, that timeframe has come true. The Nexus 6 page on the Play Store is now listing the device as being available for pre-order on October 29. Both colors of blue and white as well as both storage options of 32GB and 64GB will be available for pre-order.

The Nexus 6 is incredibly powerful with specs like a 5.9-inch QHD (2560×1440) display, 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 3,220mAh battery. All of that is paired with Android 5.0 Lollipop, the latest version of Android that’s complete with Material Design.

Are you planning to purchase the Nexus 6?

i guess i will go for note 4 as price is high on nexus 6. i guess that is what google wants anyway.

The note 4 price is even higher. Look at lollipop touchwiz leak and that will make you change your mind. I cannot stand touchwiz anymore. Too badbas I think Samsung has a very good phone hardware wise.

    Nope.

    Way too much money.
    I’ll keep using my Nexus 5 ….Thanks.

I second this. Nope!! I am not buying. In my case it’s more the size that’s gonna turn me away. I can deal with the price granted the specs are spectacular but size is a no go for me. I will gladly give Google my money if it was like 5″. Now I am gonna have to choose between the Moto X or the Sony xperia Z3.

First Ellie Miller’s husband is Gracepoint murderer and now this…

I will definitely be buying it! I cannot wait! Almost the same dimensions as the Note 4 but with a slightly bigger screen and cheaper with pure Android goodness? To me it’s a no-brainer…

  • Srini

I just need to compare & see how it stands up against the rest of the population. I mean, how big does it really feel, as say, against Nexus 5, iphone 6+, note 4 etc.

But the rest of the specs blew me away – QHD screen, Battery, Processor etc.

Glad to see so many people not buying one. More for those of us who want one.

    • Marksheen

yea becasue everyone is looking o buy more than one

My Nexus 5 is here to stay,
and should it ever bend or break,
another Nexus 5 will soon replace.

With the Nexus 6 being $650 I save nothing from buying it off contract and it costs even more on contract. I get $20 off each month on my bill for owning my own phone so $480 is the ‘savings threshold’ and $650 (probably $700 or more CDN) is crazy pricey.

I remember a few weeks ago when iphone was revealed with 5.5″ screen everyone said how stupid is was

Now this phone has even bigger screen everyone wants one..

      They’re no different than isheep

Was going to get one due to it being pure Android and having stereo speakers, until I discovered:

    1. Camera doesn’t have phase focus and sample shots looked mediocre.
    2. Older amoled tech than the note4, prob note 3 tech.
    3. It cost almost as much as a note 4 but without the stylus and many other features.

Too big for me, size and price! Here I was waiting using my Nexus 4 until it came out.

Nexus brand is one of the emerging smartphone brands today and they are proving their competence because of the models they are releasing on the market.

I was all set to trade in my Nexus 5 for the 6. Then, I saw someone with the new iPhone 6plus, and I thought “that thing is huge…way too big….” Looked it up and its only 5.5″ so I have a feeling I would hate the size of the N6. Bummed, as I love the look of it.

I will definitely be buying the Nexus 6.
