HTC Weather app storms its way into the Google Play store

HTC has already uploaded a number of its Sense apps into the Google Play store for easy updating, including HTC Clock and HTC Dot View. Now HTC has added another app to its Play store library.

HTC Weather is now live on the Google Play store’s virtual shelves. As you might expect, the app lets you see the weather information (pulled in from AccuWeather) for your current location as well as 7-day to 12-day forecasts, hourly information, sunrise and sunset times and more. You can also view the weather for other cities around the globe.

The HTC Weather app is only officially available to select HTC devices running Android 4.4 or higher. For the folks that are able to run it, this looks like a nice weather app that’ll fit in with the HTC Sense aesthetic, and it’ll be easier for HTC to update it and add new features now that the app is in the Play store.

Do you use a weather app on your Android phone or tablet?
