Android 5.0.1 factory image now available for Nexus 5

If you’ve been waiting for the official update to Android 5.0.1 to roll out to your Nexus 5, wait no longer. If you are technically inclined you can now flash the factory image provided by Google to get your device to the latest Android version without having to wait for the update to finally roll out to you.

The Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update isn’t going to be bringing a bunch of new features like the initial update, but it will fix¬†bugs and improve¬†the user experience. Lollipop isn’t bug-free by any means, so this update will probably make thing better. Both Sprint and T-Mobile mention the update as nothing more than a bug-fixer.
