Android TV Launcher lands in Google Play

After releasing the Google Now Launcher for phones and tablets into Google Play earlier this year, Google has now unleashed another launcher into its app storefront.

Android TV Launcher is now live in the Play store. As its name suggests, the app serves as a way for Android TV users to get to the content on their devices. The version of the Android TV Launcher that’s live in Google Play, which is, includes some unspecified bug fixes.

Since it’s a launcher for Android TV, the Android TV Launcher app is only compatible with Android TV hardware, which includes the ADT-1 dev kit and the Nexus Player. While its availability is limited right now, it’s good to see the Android TV Launcher arrive in Google Play because it means that Google can easily add features and fixes to the platform in the future.

Have you used Android TV yet?

I agree with and and also think that it is too pity that it works only with some devices, i think they are mistaken with this decision.

I use Handy Smart TV Launcher with its’ remote control app for my tv box and i ‘m sure that it will be the main rival for this new launcher from Google. Morover it works with a lot of mobile devices and tv-boxes and have intuitive remote control app.
