ASUS Zenfone 2 goes up for pre-order in China

ASUS Zenfone 2 (2)

The ASUS Zenfone 2 has gone up for pre-order in China from AliExpress. The ASUS Zenfone 2 was announced at CES 2015 as an affordable phone that packed serious specs. When ASUS announced the device, it said that the Zenfone 2 would start at just $200. On AliExpress, pricing is set at $299 for the version with 2GB of RAM and $439 for the version with 4GB of RAM, making it significantly higher than ASUS’s original number.

The higher price is likely inaccurate and is probably a placeholder from AliExpress while it awaits official confirmation of the price. The ASUS Zenfone 2 is a very respectable device that’s specced with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, 2GB/4GB of RAM, 64GB of strage plus microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, LTE, dual SIM card slots and a 3000mAh battery with quick charging capabilities.
