T-Mobile’s HTC One (M8) will get Lollipop next week

Sprint has been pushing out Android 5.0 updates left and right lately, but next week it’ll be T-Mobile’s turn to send out some Lollipop treats.

HTC’s Mo Versi has revealed that the T-Mobile HTC One (M8)’s update to Android 5.0 has received approval. The update will begin rolling out over the air on Monday, February 9.

There were likely a few HTC One users that were bummed when the company announced that it would miss its 90-day window for pushing Lollipop to the One (M7) and One (M8). Thankfully, it looks like HTC won’t be missing that window by much. Here’s to hoping that AT&T and Verizon will push their own updates out shortly.

My M8 here in Europe (also T-Mobile) has Lollipop for about a month. Isn’t it horrible to see U.S. carriers put all these bloats on those sweet lollipops? How do people stand by idle? ._.
