XDA user shows off what looks to be AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

We’re in the home stretch, folks. The official unveil of the Galaxy S6 is just around the corner, which means the leaks and rumors are going to be coming in fast and furious now. The latest Galaxy S6 leak comes courtesy of an XDA user who claims to have an AT&T Galaxy S6 in hand, with the pictures to prove it.

As far as we can tell, the photographic evidence that “reefur” has provided to prove he has a real Galaxy S6 is legit. Much like all the leaks and rumors we’ve seen and heard about the Galaxy S6 so far, the device reefur is showing off for the camera features a similar design to the Galaxys(ies?) that have come before it save for a few key changes. The photos show a Samsung phone with a metal band wrapped around the edge of the device, a slightly protruding camera lens, a non-removable glass back and a heart rate sensor located under the camera flash.

There’s no way to know just how close this is to a production model yet, but we’ll know soon enough. Feast your eyes on what could be a final Galaxy S6 below.

Nope, not buying it. It says, “NOT FOR SALE” so this would be a floor model for people to look at. They said they are announcing the phone but didn’t say it would be released anytime soon. I know, I know. They COULD but I don’t foresee it.

Also, Samsung puts its name proudly at the top of the front of the device. There is a weird barcode there. That was actually my first red flag.

    I don’t think it’s the real deal.

    • Illrigger

They put their name on the top front, like exactly where that barcode sticker conveniently would cover it?

It’s likely real, but a test phone like all manufacturers use. They hand them out under NDAs or to employees to use so they can test the antennas in real-world conditions.

Gotta say, it’s prettier than I expected it to be.

      • Dirty Budha

I considered that it could be a tester but I have a hard time believing that at this point in time they are sending out testers. Meh, I could be wrong. I still don’t think this is the S6 but that’s just me.

Why is this even posted here The Samsung teaser clearly show one side with curved display this is BS

    • Illrigger

You’re behind the times. Metadata on the AT&T version of that pic proved there are two phones, the GS6 and the GS6 Edge. The pic in the teaser is of the latter, these are (likely) the former.

          * for attention and site

If you’re going to try and discredit a site, or even the writer, please at least has a basic grasp of proper grammar and punctuation. Seems your creditability stock ran underground as soon as you hit the keyboard keys.

This looks more like the chinese iphone knockoff.

    • Dirty Budha

Not gonna lie, I was thinking the same thing. The speaker on the bottom is what clues me into that notion.

    • Dirty Budha

Also, the headphone jack being at the bottom.

  • TruFactz

I think its real, the Speigen GS6 accessory banners scrolling across as i view the website serve as proof in regards to camera location.

  • BlazeHN

Well, I know everyone hated the waffle back of the S5, but if this is the real deal that extreme plain and simple back looks pretty boring IMO. Hope its not the real thing.
