Sony has begun rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact. It’s taken some time, but the company has finally finished combining Lollipop and Material Design with its own software. The end result is a new design that’s surprisingly similar to stock Android, though with some obvious changes and additions. Notably, the update also includes Android for Work capability and the ability to store apps on a microSD card.

Sony is currently rolling out the update in Nordic and Baltic regions, but has promised that it will expand to other markets soon. It also mentioned that more updates are coming soon for other devices waiting for their Lollipop update. You can follow the XDA links below if you’d like to view some screenshots of what the update entails. Otherwise, you can just sit back, relax and wait for the update to hit.
