Alcatel OneTouch is bringing a new smartphone to the states and it’s headed for T-Mobile. The POP Astro is an entry-level phone that features a low price point to draw customers in. What do the specs look like? The POP Astro brings in a 4.5-inch qHD (960×540) display, 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB storage plus microSD card slot, 5-megapixel rear camera, front-facing camera, 2000mAh battery, 4G LTE and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Pricing is set at $149.76 full retail price, but you can spread that over 24 payments of $6.24/month. For the price, the POP Astro isn’t too bad. It’s disappointing to see that it comes with KitKat rather than Lollipop, but that’s a common trait among entry-level smartphones. If you’re interested in the Alcatel OneTouch POP Astro, it’s now available online and in T-Mobile stores nationwide.Show Press Release
