Looks like the AT&T version of the HTC One M8 isn’t the only version of that device that’s getting an Android update today.

The HTC One M8 Google Play edition is now getting its update to Android 5.1, according to owners on Reddit and xda-developers. The update weighs in at 244.2MB and brings the One M8 GPe to the latest version of Lollipop, which includes goodies like the ability to change Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks directly from the Quick Settings menu.

HTC said last month that the Google Play versions of its One devices would begin getting Android 5.1 in early April, and so it’s nice to see HTC and Google meet that goal. The One M7 GPe is still waiting for its update to 5.1, but now that the One M8 GPe has it, we can’t imagine that it’ll be long before the One M7 GPe gets the update too.
