Sprint is now pushing out an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop for two of its largest phones, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note Edge. Manufacturers are in full swing for updating devices to Lollipop and Sprint and Samsung have both been on top of their game for it. We recently saw the Note 4 receive its update to Lollipop and now its time for the Galaxy Note Edge and older Galaxy Note 3 to receive their updates.

Samsung’s version of Android 5.0 Lollipop features a redesigned TouchWiz that uses Google’s new Material Design standards. Other improvements include improved notifications and better performance thanks to a new ART runtime. The Galaxy Note Edge gets an extra bonus with the update, as it also includes Wi-Fi calling enhancements and factory reset protection for the device.

Both updates are rolling out in stages, so it may be a few days before you see the update. If you’d like to manually check, head into About Phone and hit the “Check for Updates” button.

Let us know when you receive your Lollipop update!
