Google Play Music website gets redesigned

Google Play Music desktop refresh

Google Play Music is a great mobile service, but many use it on their computers too. I’m one of them, listening to All Access radio quite frequently. And months after the mobile app got an update with the new Material Design styling, the website is now getting the same love.

The new site design is beautiful, with buttons that are similar to the mobile app and a slide-out menu with a fancy animation. The artists page has every artist in a circle instead of a square, the transitions are new, all the animations are fantastic, and there is a new playlist menu. Instead of being its own screen like before, it’s a pop-up list.

The changes to Play Music are not only very pretty, but they’re very functional. The new pop-up menu is really useful and the entire interface is still easy to navigate. Head to the site to check out the new design!
