T-Mobile is dropping the price of the LG Optimus L90 to $49 with a qualified prepaid plan

T-Mobile is making it more affordable for customers to start up a prepaid wireless plan from May 15 to June 30. TmoNews has gotten its hands on a memo detailing a promo that makes prepaid SIM Starter Kits free and drops the LG Optimus L90 to just $49 with a $40 prepaid plan.

For those of you who aren’t so great at math, that means that T-Mobile customers can walk into a corporate, branded or authorized T-Mobile retailer, plunk down $89 and walk out with an Android phone and month of unlimited service with 1GB of LTE data. For just $49, the Optimus L90 is a fantastic starter handset. Specs on the L90 include:

  • 4.7-inch qHD resolution display (540×960)
  • Quad-core Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz processor
  • 5MP rear camera with 1080p video
  • VGA front facing camera
  • 2,560mAh battery
  • Self-healing back, protects against daily scrapes

It’s worth noting that the LG Optimus L90 ships with KitKat but is ready to be updated with Android 5.0, Lollipop. Anyone getting in on this deal this spring? Let us know in the comments below.
