Moto 360 Android 5.1.1 OTA rolling out now

Moto 360 Dark Side of the Moon watch face

The Moto 360 update to the latest version of Android, 5.1.1, was recently delayed. Apparently there was some issue with it not running well, so it was (rightfully) pushed back. Maybe the older processor is finally taking its toll on the device. But no matter, as we have the update starting today!

Motorola and Google are pushing the latest update as an OTA, so many of you can download the update! Of course, it will be rolling out over the next few days, so many of us will have to wait a while before we receive it.

This update will bring new features like Wi-Fi connectivity (when your Bluetooth connection drops out), always on apps, support for multiple wearables, MediaBrowser support (you will be able to browse media like music from your watch!), and more.

It’s definitely a solid update to the platform, so check for updates if you haven’t. And when you get it , let us know what you think!
