Microsoft planning to release Cortana public beta for Android in coming weeks

Microsoft’s virtual assistant may be coming to Android very soon, at least in public beta form. Cortana was supposed to launch in beta for Android in June, but it was sadly delayed. Now we finally know that Microsoft is planning to launch the public beta “in the next few weeks.”

Much like Siri, and to an extent Google Now, Cortana is meant to help you with every day tasks and give you the information you request. Many people love their virtual assistants and it’s great that Microsoft is going cross platform with theirs. Will you be giving Cortana a go? Have you dreamed of talking to her since playing Halo? leave a comment!
