Sprint and T-Mobile CEOs scuffle on Twitter

image John Legere

John Legere, CEO of T-Mobile, is known for being very controversial and offensive. His Twitter page reflects that, with him constantly badmouthing other carriers and their CEOs without provocation. Some love this behavior and view him as edgy, but some just see it as all talk and no action (or at least not as much as they like).

Well Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure decided to take a page from Legere’s book and fire a few shots back, insulting both the CEO and the carrier. Is it a bit childish? Sure. But is it entertaining? Oh yeah. Legere didn’t actually respond to any of the allegations but simply belittled Claure back, and that’s how it’s supposed to be.

I think my favorite part of this is Claure’s take on Legere’s hastag #Sprintlikehell. #Tmobilelikehell, really? He’s gotta up his game if he wants to take on Legere on Twitter. We look forward to seeing more from these two in the future.
