Toddy Cable Kickstarter campaign promises a fully-customized USB cable

Since you’re reading a website dedicated to Android smartphones, there’s a good chance that you own at least one USB charging and sync cable for your devices. If you’re like me, you probably have a drawer in your desk that’s full of extra USB cables and wall adapters. There’s very little chance that you would actually pay money to add another USB cable to your collection, unless it offered something truly unique. That’s what Toddy is doing with the launch of its Toddy Cable Kickstarter campaign.

Toddy Cable is a high-quality USB cable which can be uniquely customized to your taste with distinct patterns and even the option to have your name or other details printed onto the cable. The Kickstarter campaign is offering the first 500 backers the Toddy Cables for $12. If you get in after that, your customized Toddy Cable will set you back $14. Toddy is also offering a variety of bundles with multiple cable and other Toddy accessories.

We were lucky enough to get our hands on a Toddy Cable already, and we can report that the quality is top notch and the unique pattern of the cable makes it easy to spot. There is no USB Type-C Toddy Cable option for those who own a USB-C device, but we’re hoping that that changes once the Kickstarter campaign wraps up in mid-May.
