AT&T updating Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+ to Marshmallow

AT&T has not one, but two Marshmallow updates rolling out today. The carrier has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ are both getting the update to Android 6.0.

The Marshmallow update is a big one, though you may not see big changes in design. It includes Doze mode for better battery life, customizable app permissions for better security, Google Now on Tap, better volume control, and a lot of optimizations that make most devices run faster and smoother.

If you own one of these devices, get ready to download around 1.35GB of data to get the update. Check for updates in Settings > About phone > Software update and let us know when you get it!
