Huawei partners with Truecaller, will pre-install caller ID app on Honor 8 and more

Truecaller

Truecaller is growing more and more popular, revealing recently that it’s passed 90 million monthly active users and over 250 million downloads. And, of course, it partnered with Cyanogen last year.

Now Truecaller has another partnership, and it’s even bigger. Huawei has partnered with Truecaller and plans to pre-install the app on the Honor 8 and future devices sold in the U.S., Middle East, North Africa, South East Asia and India.

Apparently the deal doesn’t involve any money changing hands. Instead, the two companies just agreed on to form a mutually beneficial partnership. And Truecaller is a great app, so it’s gonna benefit the consumers too.
