LG G6 said to launch on March 10, Samsung Galaxy S8 on April 21

LG and Samsung are both preparing to launch new flagship phones soon, and according to a new report out of South Korea, the release dates for those handsets may have been finalized.

ETNews claims that LG will launch the G6 on March 10. We already know the Life’s Good crew will unveil the flagship handset at Mobile World Congress on February 26, so if the March 10 launch date is accurate, that’s a quick turnaround. It would contradict an earlier rumor that suggested LG is planning to launch the G6 in the U.S. on April 7, though.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to get an unveiling in New York City on March 29 and is said to be launched globally on April 21. The report indicates that Samsung initially planned on launching the Galaxy S8 on April 14, at least in South Korea, following a week’s time of pre-orders. However, the company apparently changed its mind because it wanted to make sure it had enough initial stock at launch.

While nothing is official, it looks like we don’t have long to wait before these devices are on store shelves. Between the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8, which one has your attention more?
