While many other Google services are infused with Material Design, the web page for Google Calendar still looks old and unappealing. Even the Android app has been revamped.
Fortunately, it seems that the current design is not long for this world. A Reddit user posted these photos of the new Calendar web page redesign in the Material style. It’s currently only for testers so you won’t be seeing it yet, but it should roll out for everyone else sometime in Q4 2017.
The makeover brings the design closer to every other Google service web page as well as their Android apps. This includes pastel colors, round icons, and floating buttons. It’s a huge improvement in aesthetics and will hopefully retain the functionality of what we have now. Let us know what you think in the comments!
