You thought Angry Birds was a big part of your life? You’ve got nothing on these guys in Barcelona. Turns out they actually set up a real life Angry Birds game where your favorite birds were literally throwing themselves against those green pigs!

I’m quite speechless, so just check out the video! It’s rather impressive, and the Angry Birds song was played live, too! Do we have any readers in Barcelona who had a chance to see this in person?

Android Mobile Techcocktail at MWC

We have finally been able to put together all the details for the Mobile Cocktail and Android developer’s gathering that will take place during the Mobile World Congress.

The Barcelona Android Developers group would like to extend and invitation to all Android developers that will be coming down for the MWC to join us. This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow local and European developers in a relax atmosphere while having a couple drinks.

In addition and in true spirit to Tech Cocktail and its more recent offspring Mobile Cocktail, we would like to invite to any mobile start up to join us and feature their their product, we will be showcasing some of the local and visiting mobile startups at the event in an expo-style.

The Cocktail will take place the 17th, at the B Hotel in Gran Vía 389-391, Barcelona (next to MWC congress grounds), from 7 to 9PM.

The tickets are €10.00 and include two drinks (Beer, Wine, Soda/Pop, etc). Cocktails will be available at an addition €6 charge per drink.

Developers: Win $15k and a trip to Barcelona

Mobile Analytics is heating up. Google launched their own Analytics for Android applications last week and today announced they had acquired AdMob. Flurry has also been announcing new partnerships and plans to launch a pro service soon.

Motally is yet another company seeking to be the leader in mobile analytics with their own patent-pending technology to ensure accurate data collection and analytic reporting.

In order to promote their service, Motally is hosting a contest called Trackappalooza. The challenge is open to Android, BlackBerry, and iPhone developers. The grand prize winner will receive a trip to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and second place will include fifteen prizes of $1,000 each.

To enter the contest, developers must sign up by December 15, 2009 and use the Motally tracking API from January 1, 2010 to January 31, 2010. For complete rules and eligibility visit the Motally site.

I have yet to see Motally appear in the Android community and I’m not aware of any applications that are using it yet. They have guaranteed prizes for the Android platform, so I think some devs might want to give it sample for a chance at the prizes.
