We knew that Android 7.0 Nougat had improved security, but now Google has detailed what it’s done with the operating system update. A big part was addressing the issues with mediaserver.
Truecaller, the awesome caller ID app that let’s you know who’s calling and even warns you of spam calls, discovered an exploit in its app. The exploit allowed someone with your IMEI number to get personal information remotely. The company patched the exploit, and says that no information has been compromised.
