Today AT&T and Deutsche Telekom announced they have entered into a definitive agreement in which AT&T will acquire T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom for $39 billion. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and the transaction is expected to close in approximately 12 months.
