Apparently the Droid 2 finally got sick of its sibling getting all the attention and decided to pose for a few new candid shots of its own. Presumably everyone has seen the original Droid/Milestone and if so you are going to be pretty familiar with the look of the Droid 2.
To be certain that there is no confusion I want to point out that this is not an official download from Google as we saw with the Nexus One, but all reports are indicating that it is a solid build of Froyo that My Droid World has brought to the Droid owning masses.
The benefit of owning an Android phone with a stock version of the OS is that it tends to receive updates the fastest. We saw this when the Droid was the first phone to receive an update to Android 2.1 and then again when the Nexus One received Android 2.2.

We knew for awhile that Android was going to receive a nice performance boost with the new JIT compiler found in Android 2.2. Google proclaimed a 2x-5x performance increase when they unveiled Android 2.2 at Google I/O and now a select few with Nexus One phones are reaping the benefits.
