Pandora has announced that it will be purchasing key assets of music streaming service Rdio. As Rdio files for bankruptcy, Pandora will be purchasing parts of the company, as well as offering its employees positions at Pandora, for $75 million in cash. The entire company will not be purchased.
In an attempt to further differentiate itself from competitors, Spotify is releasing a new feature soon called Discover Weekly that will hopefully introduce you to some new music, relevant to your tastes.
