Paypal is not staying behind in mobile payments. The highly popular internet bank has just announced Paypal Here and its mobile credit card reader. This would allow customers with a smartphone to charge credit cards straight from their devices, a feature that most users currently turn to Square for.

Late last night someone manning the PayPal Blog got a little overeager about the news that PayPal support was finally coming to the Android Market and hit that pesky little publish button before the official announcement could be made.
Paypal should become a payment option in the Android Market later this month, according to a report from TheStreet. Sources familiar with the situation say the deal is already done and Paypal will announce it at their annual developers conference on October 26th.
