We knew for awhile that Android was going to receive a nice performance boost with the new JIT compiler found in Android 2.2. Google proclaimed a 2x-5x performance increase when they unveiled Android 2.2 at Google I/O and now a select few with Nexus One phones are reaping the benefits.
The guys at ustwo like to showoff and they are back with another 48 hour app. Dot 2 is the second in a “cool’ectible” series (2/6) of forthcoming apps, called 48hApps. Each title is created in 48 hours and features simple design and addictive gameplay.
As someone who travels fairly infrequently, I actually look forward to the process of booking a trip to faraway place. It’s always a good feeling to know that once I click the “Book Now” button, I will for sure have some vacation time away from work in the not-too-distant future.
