AAM Android App?

Posted Jan 04, 2014 at 6:13 pm in Threads > Apps

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted a thread.. And I’m off and on with this site.. But I love AAM and I love it’s news content.. I once said that I would fully return when I saw AAM come back to its full glory and it has.. And it’s even better.. But I think an AAM is an order.. I mean I think it’s past due.. Like I’ve be an AAM member for a few years.. And I would love to see an android App..

P.s. I would love to be an editor.. And help design the app.. And have all of the members pitch in.. Lol.. Hopes and dreams…

Another 10mb android app taking up space on my non-sd capable Nexus 4, or a bookmark icon that takes up under 1kb to place on my homescreen? Hmmm….how do you think I’ll vote?

I found this site because of it’s widget, I think they killed it with 2.1. It lived on my g1, sadly missed.

Or instead of making an app, they could just release their stuff on something like Play newsstand… Though I dunno how they would incorporate ads into that and if they do, how much revenue they get from it… So looks good on the dev side but not the business side…
On the other hand they could develop an app… Good for business but a hassle to develop and maintain…
Personally, I would like to be alerted when a new article is out instead of constantly checking the site every so often…

On a side note, I think they should fix some problems with the mobile site because the top apps page always doesn’t display properly…

They could just offer an aam feed to apply geek widget. I use now solely on my devices.

Well I just found out that A&me is on Google Newsstand… Great option if u wanna get notified of news as and when it is released!
