This morning, Mr. Steve Kondik himself posted some CM10 previews! They are pre-release quality software and probably have some major bugs in them but this shows where CM10 is at this point. However, they appear to be daily-driver-worthy. I’ve yet to see any obvious problems.
Cyanogen says that these releases are missing Butter but frankly, they’re just as smooth as stock software for me. If you follow the below-posted directions, you’ll end up with a ROM that’s a mix of AOSP and CyanogenMod ROM. By this, there are clearly hints of Cyanogenmod (Apollo, CM stat reporting, non-AOSP launcher, etc.) but there are obvious omissions as well (no advanced settings/toggles/etc. at all). And yes, Google Now is there once you flash Gapps.
*** NOTE: If you flash this software, you risk your phone becoming a brick, you will void your warranty, and your phone will become possessed overnight while you sleep and suck your blood. You have been warned!
