Nexus 4 Shipping Delays

My order for the Nexus 4 was place minutes after it went live….and after a bunch of processing errors. I just got the following email from Google. Livid does not describe how I feel….

Thank you for your recent purchase on Google Play. Due to overwhelming demand, your Nexus 4 is on backorder and is expected to ship within three weeks. We’ll send you a notification when your order has shipped and will credit the shipping charges.

    No tracking number email yet.
    No back order email

    Called CS on 11/14 – You should be receiving a shipping & tracking email by the end of the day or tomorrow morning
    Called CS on 11/15 – You should be receiving a shipping & tracking email by the end of the day or tomorrow evening
    Called CS on 11/16 – You order was just shipped out. Please allow 3-5 business day to receive your Nexus 4. Also anticipate your shipping & tracking email to come by the end of the day.
    Called CS on 11/17- Well since you never got a back order email and haven’t receive your tracking email yet. It means your order got moved to back order, expect it to come within 3weeks. Also we don’t know why your order date change to Nov. 17. Have a nice day.

    I am in the same boat. Still no tracking information and no backorder email either. I haven’t called. I think I will be calling on Monday if I don’t see any tracking information.

      apparently, orders are still processing, so if you do not have a backorder email, i would give them a call to see if they can expedite your order. i didn’t know that was an option until i called yesterday (3rd time overall) and the person i spoke with explained that to me. after a week of waiting, i got a shipping confirmation about 5hrs after the rep set he would put a rush on my processing.

        So did that work for you or did they just feed you bs?i was told by a rep she would push mine forward to shipping then next thing i know the next rep says wait 3 weeks.
