What do you think is the best Android feature?

Since Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean I’ve thought that Android is now not only a competitor to Apple but a much better OS choice (though I’ve been using since Eclair). I’m wondering what you think is the best feature on Android (also throw down what OS version you’re on). If you’re a developer, what do you think about the back-end of things makes Android unique?

As an average user, I love that I do have the choice! I don’t like most UIs, so I root my phone and install a custom rom of my desire (or write my own one, if I just could). I don’t like most ringtones, I just pick whatever I want from my Computer. I don’t like preinstalled apps and don’t need most of them anyway, so I just install new ones and deactivate/deinstall the others. I don’t want to use the playstore, what do I do? Exactly, I install another one or grab Apps directly from the developer’s Homepage.
So many choices, no need for some Software like Itunes to get access to my phone. Android just lets me do everything I want to do with a phone.

Im just sad they got rid of QWERTY or QWERTZ (yeah, Im from ger) models, which is partly Google’s fault as they didn’t implement the use of hardware keyboards into new firmware as much. Also i hate the fact that Androidphones get bigger and bigger as if the hands of all users are going to grow as fast (no they don’t, do they?). But that isnt Google’s fault at all, it’s us buying those pocket-monsters. Da*n i made a pokemonjoke…

I hear ya on the QWERTY keyboards. I had the myTouch 3G slide for awhile. I didn’t like the phone all that much but LOVE having an actual keyboard I can touch. Call me old fashioned. Have you checked this out?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCTIGzE69TI

East of sharing content between apps.

    Different shapes and sizes

    Tight Google and others intergration

The list could go on and on…..

Never had an iPhone (wife did) and i never bought the argument that ios was easier to pick up. I got an ipad2 and it frustrated me so much.

Replaced it with a nexus7,and that now is replaced (almost) with my note 2.

Re size, i had the one X, and it was (for me) to big for a phone, replaced with the note2,and it’s perfect size, as it’s not just a phone, but a replacement tablet.

The 4.8 slightly to big for me to use one handed, and struggled, the note is a two hander, and you know that from day one.
