Wouldn’t it be funny if this thread was the randomly chosen winner?

…seeing as how I’ve been thinking for several minutes now and can’t come up with a good topic that hasn’t been discussed to death or started in another thread already (since I’m a good forum poster and don’t like nearly-identical posts any more than you do).

    No. No it wouldn’t.

Who said the winner would be random? We are looking for someone who took advantage of this opportunity and created something awesome. I don’t think this thread is it ;)

This is almost certainly the best meta-talking-about-the-contest thread, that’s gotta be something

I’m so meta, even this acronym

What if I said pretty please?

From what I understand you need a ranking of 100 of %tile score? I want to post a thread about peoples experiences with Sony development but can’t find post new thread button.

You don’t need a certain percentile. Your percentage rank is separate (though correlated) with your points. You need 20 points to start a new thread. Points are earned through various activities on the site, such as upvotes, comments, etc., and they’re spent on things like creating new threads. Looking at your profile, I see you only have 11 points, so you’re on the right track.

        See http://androidandme.com/docs/threads/ for more info.

Oops, I was slightly mistaken… after reading that entire document, you need at least 100 points to start a thread, but it only costs 20. It’s unclear what happens if you have 110 points and start a thread (bringing you to 90), if you’ll be able to start a second thread…

No because mine is going to win. Sorry :/

    Best of luck to you…

    Not to me.

Nice try at being meta. I like the XKCD reference.
