Yes yes yes! Please please please!
It's yet another great reason not to give Verizon any money. I hate that company more and more every day.
I wasn't able to get one at 12:00PST (tried for 2 hours) went home, ate dinner, and checked again. I was able to place my order at 6:00 PST no trouble whatsoever.
It has always been 2 day shipping...
I'm assuming you're not in the US...
patience is a virtue. I never got a chance to get my order in. I'll get it when I get it.
Yep! I think they would be much better than what we currently have!
My Phone runs 4.0.4. My tablet is on 4.1.something (Nexus 7). While there IS a difference, it's really not a big difference at all.
My wives phone is still on Gingerbread, and there really is a BIG difference there.
I'm not sure what the best naming scheme should be, but as long as they don't start naming them like intel and amd name processors, or video cards for that matter...
I was able to get through 1/2 the video before I was overcome with the cheesiness of it.
I hope it is a quality device, because I really want to Nexus program to keep going.
I won't personally be in the market for a new phone till at least a year from now, so I don't care too much about the features, but only 8GB and lack of micro SD is pretty much deal breaking for me.
Hopefully next years model(s) will have an external storage option. (or at the very least, more internal storage)
You'll be saving at least $40 a month on a lower phone bill. Won't take too long to make up the difference.
I don't know anything about the phone, but the headphones they are giving away are awesome. I was hunting for the perfect blue tooth headphones for the better part of a year, and the LG Tone - HBS-700 are perfect for me. I'm actually considering buying a second pair just in case LG stops making them and the battery goes out, or I happen to break these.
Hahahahah ha ha hah harde har har....
Oh, I mean.. Yeah maybe!
Anybody know when the Verizon Ryhme is scheduled to get 4.0? My wife has been jealous ever since my razr got ICS.
McLovin: do you know that holding the power and home button at the same time until it restarts is the same as a battery pull?
I've been using devices with non user replaceable batteries for a few years now. Not once have I ever been in the situation where I wished I could reset it by pulling the battery.
With your phone you can 1: Pry your back cover off 2: pull battery out. 3: replace battery. 4: put cover back on. 5: Wait wait for phone to reboot.
Using my Razr Maxx for example I can 1: Hold two buttons for five seconds. 2: wait for phone to reboot.
I'd personally rather not have to pull my battery out to reset my phone.
I haven't ever actually had to do a virtual battery pull, since it works great, but I have tested it and it works.
Now I'll just have to wait for people to make awesome custom roms based on this for my maxx! Can't wait!
My Razr Maxx has yet to freeze on me, but if it ever does I just need to hold the power and volume down buttons to do a cold reset. (same as battery pull)
That pretty much guarantees I won't be buying any HTC phones in the foreseeable future. I have a Razr Maxx and couldn't imagine going back to a smaller battery. I also would never want a thinner phone either. The Razr is too thin for me, and the Maxx would benefit from a little more bulk in my opinion. Shove a 4,000+ mAh battery in there and I'd be in heaven!
