Sony Ericsson Android SDK spotted

Yesterday we learned that Sony Ericsson will make a special Android announcement next week and today we have spotted their Android SDK.

I wish I could download this.

I wish I could download this.

I’m not registered as a developer with Sony Ericsson, so I am not able to download the file (but maybe one of our readers can help us out with that). If anyone was doubting that SE is about to unveil the new Xperia, I think this is a good sign. Keep your eyes peeled for November 3, 2009.

I also spotted this little demo video from the SE YouTube account. This is NOT an Android phone, but it gives you an idea of what you can expect from second generation Android phones which feature OpenGL ES 2.0.

[Thanks nnesto21 for the tip]

I’ve never put much stock in OpenGL ES… until now. Those gfx look better than some of the 5-year old games I still play!
