Sprint 4G blazes into central Pennsylvania

Sprint customers in central Pennsylvania can now enjoy the blazing fast speeds of 4G. Starting today, Sprint flipped the 4G switch in the Pennsylvania cities of Harrisburg, Lancaster, Reading and York.

The 4G WiMax network now covers nearly 40 million people in 32 markets and is set to cover 120 million by year’s end. New markets coming soon include Cleavland, Los Angeles, Miami, and many more. To check 4G in coverage in your area, please visit

Later this year Sprint will be launching the first 4G handset, the HTC EVO 4G. No price point or date has been announced, but many speculate the phone could arrive in early June.
