lovely feature addition, those links are very handy +1 for (:

  • http://Website onthefritz

Definitely like linking. Prefer QR code, but this is better than nothing :). Thanks!

    • Anthony Domanico

The linking at least takes you to the QR code (handy when you’re at your computer), but also allows you to download straight from your phone by clicking the install button when you click the link above.

      • Angie Strickland

I guess people never see that the QR code is there, just under a small text link under the rating.

Also, I think it’s hilarious that you called Gym Babes “every guys dream app” hhahahaha. I mean I see what you’re saying, with the big cleave and all, ;) I just can’t help but laugh.

Lol!! i had to laugh too, the description is great!
i don’t know why so many bash the gym babes. Its such a fun app to show around! And i think it got deleted on the Appstore in Germany. At least i couldn’t find it with an iPod anymore

Talking Tom Cat is number one? Seriously? I don’t even know what to say to that.

    • Anthony Domanico

Yeah, it was an interesting experience this week. :)

      • ER

And gym babes? Seriously? C’mon now.

  • http://Website Mike Norton

Sadly it looks like you can not install the PayPal app on a rooter phone, or at least a phone running Cyanagen Mod. When you try to search for it on the market it comes up and missing.

    • Anthony Domanico

I have it working on CM6.

I have been using app brain for quite a while now. I’m partial to the brain method. It is fast install even faster uninstall and think it simply rocks. Just my two sense :) keep it

I’d prefer to see applications included in this list that are unisex. I don’t expect to see “Beefcake Boys” in a list like this, and, by the same rule, do not feel that Gym Babes is relevant. People of both genders use Android.

    • http://Website John

      There helps only coding :-)

    • Anthony Domanico

I can’t exactly change the download statistics. Last week, it was the 4th most downloaded Android application, and deserves to be in the top 10 downloads of the week list.

If it were Beefcake Boys at the #4 spot, I would:

      1) Pretend I was featured in the application
      2) Report it as I did the Gym Babes

      • http://Website Katharine

Oh, okay! My bad. I apparently fail at reading comprehension today, then. I was thinking these were your picks, and did not realize that the data was pulled from download statistics for the market.

        I retract my previous statement.

        • Anthony Domanico

Consequently, I picked GymBabes as my must have app of the week, but they wouldn’t let me in the staff pick section. ;)

          Kidding, of course.

    • http://Website Paul

Honestly, I’m more embarrassed by the fact that Talking Tom Cat is number 1 but the fact that Gym babes is number 4 is a bit sad, too. So much for Android users being so much more discriminating than iPhone users when downloading apps. :(

  • http://Website Glenn

I wonder if the list was broken down by OS if the same 10 would still be the top 10. Particularly interested if any “2.0 only apps” would soar to the top. Users with Android 1.5/1.6 don’t get a chance to download those from the market.

  • Taylor Wimberly

Man I spent a lot of time on that game Spider Man yesterday. That dev has made a ton of 1-click games and each has 250k+ downloads. I wonder what he makes off Adsense.

  • Dean Williams

Unfortunately, apps like “Gym Babes” will not only continue to get featured, they will climb to the top. Not because of popularity, but because most guys (and many girls) will download it just to see what it is, and then uninstall. I’d love to see an “Uninstall” feature associated. “10,0000 downloads; 9,378 uninstalls”.

GymBabes and Talking Tom Cat – wow, what a week. ;)

  • http://Website Sam

aw, i need the QR code, app brain is blocked at my work :(
