Watch Verizon’s 4G LTE news conference live at 11:30 AM PDT

Today at the CTIA Enterprice & Applications show in San Francisco, Verizon Wireless will unveil the plans for their upcoming 4G LTE network. I decided to skip the event to attend the official unveiling of the Logitech Revue, but you can still follow the Verizon announcement live online.

I’ve heard that Verizon will announce LTE service in 30 NFL cities, but no Android devices will be talked about. There should be a couple of LTE modems and that should be about it. Verizon and Motorola are working on a LTE tablet, but we do not expect that till Q2 2011, so it might be too soon to announce.

If you want to check out the Verizon press conference, there are two methods:

After you watch the Verizon cast, let us know what you think. Are you excited about 4G LTE?

Oh god! Thanks for leasing out your equipment Sprint. My 4G better not degrade upon rollout of Verizon’s offering. Anyone curious of what markets will be included, pull out a map of Sprint’s 4G coverage and fold it in half. That will give you a ballpark idea. You don’t really think Verizon’s market research uncovered anything Sprint’s didn’t, do you? Heck, I bet they didn’t even do any research, they just stole Sprint’s development plans.

Dude what are you talking about, every phone company at least the 4 major ones are coming out with 4g sprint just got desperate on pushing 4g before its time..and it wasn’t even available for 90% or more of the u.s..Verizon is just being smart and setting up their 4g for most of the u.s..so don’t hate on better service.

To top it off, Sprints WiiMax is a joke! They even know it themselves! Rumor was they were planning on ditching their 4g and going LTE as well…. Verizon owns!
