Open Feint launches 12 new games this week, version 1.1 coming soon

The social gaming network Open Feint launched just six weeks ago on Android and they already have several success stories to show for it. First they drove new titles like Fruit Ninja and MiniSquadron to the top of the paid charts, and they have also increased sales of older games that recently implemented Open Feint.

Take Speedx 3D for example. This game has been around since February when Clark reviewed it, but the developer added Open Feint and was featured in their Feint Game Spotlight app. After the relaunch of Speedx 3D, the developer HyperBees saw a 39% increase in sales to their hit racing game and a 9% increase in sales across their other titles.

Make sure you install the Feint Game Spotlight (scan QR code above) because they are about to update it to version 1.1, which will integrate Facebook Connect, making it even easier for Android gamers to find and play games with their friends. For a preview of other upcoming features see my previous article Will you be my Open Feint friend?

The third wave of Android games from Open Feint launches this week and we can see several new devs coming to Android along with some of our old friends like Psym Mobile (Abduction!).

If you already have some Open Feint games installed, make sure you add user androidandme to your friends list because we are going to be running some cool contests soon.

New games launching on Open Feint this week include:

  • Flick Kick Football (PikPok)
  • Dot 3(TM) (ustwo)

I love OpenFeint games… even if they come from many different publishers, all the games I play are EXCELLENT in quality (Mini Squadron, Fruint Ninja, Flick Kick Football, etc…)

Only 10 in the list, not 12. Weird.

:) Read the list properly. There are definitely 12 games there. 10 developers/studios, but 12 games in all.

Anybody know how to actually add friends in Feint? I can get to the dashboard through Fruit Ninja and Dot3 but when I hit the Friends bit that menu option highlights but never actually does anything. Am I missing something?
