If you watched any NFL games this weekend, I’m sure you caught Verizon’s 4G LTE commercial hyping their big launch. Tomorrow we will learn the full details of the launch as Verizon Wireless will hold a news conference featuring Tony Melone, CTO of Verizon Wireless.
We already know that Verizon 4G LTE is coming to 38 markets this year, but the carrier has yet to launch any devices. It is expected that two USB modems will be unveiled tomorrow and Verizon hinted that LTE handsets will arrive in February.
According to a leaked slide over at Droid Life, the first LTE modem goes on sale December 5th so we expect that is the big day that Verizon flips the 4G switch.
Expectations for the service are high since Verizon is hyping it as the The Fastest 4G Network in America and the largest 4G LTE network in the world.
