Verizon already confirmed they will have a half-dozen LTE devices at the upcoming CES and we have almost figured most of them out. Motorola will have a phone (Etna) and tablet (Everest), HTC will have at least one phone (Mecha and maybe Merge), and now we learn that Samsung will also product a 4G LTE phone.
A new picture posted at Gizmodo reveals an unknown Samsung phone (SCH-i520) that supports 4G LTE and features a front-facing camera. Verizon already carries two Galaxy S phones that are touch only (Fascinate and Continuum), so I suspect this new model might be their version of the Epic 4G.
There was no mention of a QWERTY keyboard, but HTC and Motorola will already offer touch only phones so someone needs to fill that void. Verizon’s CES media event takes place in just a couple of weeks and we will be there live, so check back soon for the full details.
