Is this the Sony Ericsson Xperia duo? We certainly hope so

Workaholic Mr. BlurryCam is back with one of his finest works so far. This time, the proud Nokia 7650 owner managed to quickly catch a photo of what some people are calling the Sony Ericsson Xperia duo. The phone will supposedly be Sony Ericsson’s first dual-core phone, but we have no idea which chip the company will go with at this point. However, if I was a gambling man, I’d say Qualcomm’s Snapdragon MSM8660 is a safe bet.

Looking at the picture below, the phone will have a front-facing camera and an almost edge-to-edge screen. Something we can’t get enough of. Aside from that, we’re drawing a blank here, folks. Hopefully this leak means the device is getting closer to launch and we’ll start getting more details soon.

What do you guys think? Is this real or just the product of some Photoshop skills and way too much free time? If it’s real, are you digging Sony Ericsson’s almost all-display design? Let us know in the comments.

That is a lot of screen. This is why I’m looking forward to IceCreamSammich. I want a phone that’s all screen (with just enough bezel that you can hold it without touching the screen).

I would have to say it doesn’t quite look right, and might be a mockup, or a fake. Nothing really jumps out, but it doesn’t quite look 3D real.

it does look like a picture of a poster. Looking at the glare at one side, it seems to have been taken through glass (shop window?)
