HTC Vigor with dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon pops up in NenaMark

Leaked previously as the upcoming HTC device with a 6MP camera, new details surrounding the Vigor have made their way online today thanks to NenaMark. Not only do we now know more on the processor and display, but we also might have a clue as to which carrier will be backing the Vigor.

The Vigor, labeled here as the ADR6425LVW, appears to be using a Qualcomm 1.5GHz dual-core processor with Adreno 220 GPU. Essentially, a Snapdragon MSM8x60 similar to the one found in the Evo 3D and Sensation. Along with the beefy processor, you’ll find an equally impressive 1280×720 HD display powered by Android 2.3.4.

And as for the carrier the Vigor just might make its debut with? That would be none other than Verizon.

Keep in mind that none of this is solid, but if it is we’ve got a serious monster on our hands here. The Vigor is one name you’re gonna wanna watch out for.

OHHHHHHH MANNN!!!!!!. Its like i know how this horrible cycle of technology works. We get all excited about say the SGS II but now im tempted to wait for that phone. Well to be honest im going to probably get the SGS II and be happy with it. Im upgrading from a droid x(only had a month or so) but had a OG droid for like almost 2 years(loved having it every moment except when i had ghost touch issues). So get a phone if you have your upgrade available or unless you lots of money to burn well kudos to you cause i would upgrade every time a new phone was around the corner if i had the money

  • midijunkie

    Nexus Prime? :P

    1,5ghz dual core snapdragon(–> 1,8ghz krait) + 6mp cam (–> 5 MP rear-facing camera with “class-leading image quality in addition to superior low-light performance”) + 720p display.

If and when and I say if because Verizon is well known for messing everything up before it even gets a chance to start. But if this makes it to Verizon it will be there best device and will make up for that disaster they call the thunderbolt on LTE. If it has Evo 3d and Sensation internals then the battery life should be good REGARDLESS OF LTE. But the funny part is this is the PRELUDE to what people will be seeing as far as the EVO BRAND in 2012 and everyone already knows what that means SPRINT ALWAYS RECEIVE THE BEST HTC PRODUCTS

    • http://htcsource.com Nick Gray

That’s up for debate. I love the EVO 3D, but I still think the Sensation is a much better product. It may not be cutting edge since it doesn’t feature 3D – but when was the last time you used your 3D camera?

    • squiddy20

Hmmm… considering Sprint has made the deal with LightSquared official and it has been confirmed that Sprint will be getting LTE through LightSquared, I wouldn’t be too quick to disregard Verizon’s LTE. Grow the f**k up.

  • snowbdr89

Ofcourse you’re dumbass will think that dick now move along stupid.

  • Nonchalant

Wonder whether this is actually HTC’s concept smartphone, the HTC Blast, which is supposedly to come with a 1.5GHZ processor, 2 cameras, 1GB RAM, 4.7″ display, and a whopping 1850mAH battery. If it is, at least this device will be upgradable to Android 4.0 and above, requiring min. 1.5Ghz processor, 1GB RAM, highquality display, and 2 cameras (for video conferencing).

    • John D

4.7… holy shit why not just carry a tablet

    • Richard Yarrell

Yes you are definately on the right track NO DOUBT my friend. And it stands to reason that if this device CODE NAME VIGOR arrives late this year for verizon then you must know that NEXT YEAR sprint will recieve something from HTC that will be TWO TIMES BETTER THAN THIS device. Sprint will always recieve the BEST FROM HTC because all these concepts derive from the EVO BRAND so for many years to come EVO will be a household name. Verizon definately needs something made by HTC that will better than the Thunderbolt and evo made device.

Your comment became unreadable when the caps moved in. First day on the internet? Jesus, please realize that this makes you look like an idiot.

      • snowbdr89

@dick yarrell i think i just read something about sprints net loss for q2 was $847 million ouch keep up that rate an they might start calling it the now broke network

    • http://htcsource.com Nick Gray

Not sure where you’re getting those minimum requirements from. Google has never had minimum requirements for any of their Android builds and I doubt they would start now. If that was the case, none of the current Android tablets would be able to upgrade to Android 4.0.

  • snowbdr89

@ Dick how does it feel knowing you’re an idiot?

  • Sufian

Two questions I have are: 1) will it be a global phone? 2) Will it also not be capable of doing both data & voice concurrently (like the Bionic)?

  • thechad

    good article thanks
