EA Sports releases Madden 2012 for Android; Football lovers rejoice

Madden 12

Are you ready for some football?

The NFL preseason is entering its final week, and the 2011-12 NFL season is nearly upon us. There are certainly applications galore in the market to keep up with scores or manage your fantasy football team, but what about those of us who like to get our hands dirty? Those who grew up on the Madden franchise and want to actively play out the games of our favorite teams?

EA Sports announced today that Madden NFL 12 is now available for Android devices. The officially licensed game brings all 32 teams, complete with official rosters and multiple modes of gameplay.

Madden NFL 12 is available on the Android market for $6.99 for many Android 2.1+ devices. Sadly, it appears Madden 12 is not compatible with Honeycomb tablets.

If you’re at all interested in football and gaming, you should probably go ahead and pick this up.

Absolute Failure !!!!! I HATE EA and the way they handle there market games. Rarely updated and usually buggy I would have bought it if it was available on Honeycomb though !

It is very said that Apple can have this on their iPad but EA didn’t release it to play on the Android Tablets. That’s a huge fail and I’m really upset with this.

Yeah, it makes no sense at all. There are way too many apps/games coming out that don’t support Honeycomb. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

Hopefully Ice Cream Sandwich will save the honeycomb tablet.

“This app is incompatible with all of your devices.” I have a Droid Incredible 2. Just what is required to run this thing???
