HTC Raider takes off on Korea’s 4G LTE network

The HTC Holiday may be MIA, but if you’re wondering what AT&T’s next flagship Android phone may be modeled after, take a look at the new HTC Raider. The new 4G LTE enabled Android 2.3.4 device looks oddly similar to the leaked HTC Holiday pictures. The only downside to the HTC Raider is that you’ll have to travel to Korea to pick one up.

The HTC Raider will run on Asia’s 2100 MHz 3G network and also comes equipped with a 4G radio to connect with Korea’s 850 MHz LTE network. Specs on the HTC Raider include a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch qHD display, 16 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM.

We were hoping to see the unveiling of the HTC Holiday at yesterday’s press event in New York City, but that obviously didn’t happen. We still have no clue when AT&T and HTC will get around to releasing or even announcing the Holiday, but we’d expect the specs to match up nicely with those of the Raider. So what do you think of the HTC Raider?  Is it everything you’re hoping the HTC Holiday will be?

    Sense 3.5?

I’m liking it more and more. That gray back panel will make it stand out from all the other solid black phones available. I know black is sexy, but why did HTC and everyone else just settle on using black. Back in the day HTC had gray and even blue phones before it was cool to have alternate colors.

So true! I need this on AT&T right now! I have Moto Backflip (yes, I know it’s one of the worst phones ever made). I’ve made a promise that I’ll never buy another Moto product again. All my friands rave about HTC so I think the Holiday is high on my list.

HTC making new devices with Sense 3.5 coming out which makes android look so much better. And if you don’t like that than you can get the Galaxy S II which is very powerful with Touchwiz which was improved a lot. And if you don’t like that you can wait a short time for plain vanilla ICS with Nexus Prime. Thats whats so great about Android, choice.

Clearly a prelude to 2012 HTC EVO BRAND for 2012. There will definitely be a 4.7 to 5.0 screen on the next EVO BRAND in 2012. Meanwhile this upcoming device as well as the upcoming Htc Incredible hd on Verizon will end the 2011 campaign as the top htc android devices. The overall future and the build quality of upcoming htc devices look excellent..

The Raider name works for me. What I like is that it Does have the 16GB internal storage, 1GB RAM. The battery is a little small, but maybe just big enough, and, if that back comes off nicely, it makes it a candidate for a Seidio mongo battery and back a la the TBolt. I’d love to see a kickstand, but I’ll survive without it, likewise the absence of the Beats Audio, though I’d REALLY like that.
