Google Play extends 25 billion downloads sale to books, magazines, movies, and music

Yesterday Google announced they had recorded 25 billion downloads from the Google Play store and they placed the top Android apps on sale for $0.25 to celebrate. Today they have a fresh selection of books, magazines, movies, and music to choose from. If you have never purchased other types of content from Google Play, this is a great chance to check out the experience. Check out all the sale items after the break.

Not much to be excited about for me personally.

I saw some pretty good movies that I might go purchase. Always good to have some things I haven’t seen for when I travel.

The trick is that these are RENTAL prices. Purchasing these ‘must own’ movies still costs $10+. Seems kinda odd.

I bought everything from the category ‘unavailable to your country’

Unfortunately, none of them are available in Eastern Europe…

All 4 links give me a “…. on Google Play is not available in your country yet.”

    Too bad for Google.

I got two movies already and can’t wait to see them both later today.
